Solidification of refractory Metals and Alloys

Containerless processing under weightless conditions is particularly useful for solidification experiments of refractory materials, since these materials have high melting temperatures and large densities. The study of these materials will require a well-coordinated experimental strategy, using parabolic flights and the MSL-EMF facility.
