Crystal Growth from Vapour

Crystal growth from the vapour phase plays a crucial role in the production of II-VI (ZnO, ZnTe, CdTe, etc.) semiconductor compounds and SiC. Yet, important technical questions remain to be addressed to further improve this technique. The scientific interest of this topical team concentrates on the study of physical vapour transport (PVT), the commercial requirements for PVT, and the influence gravity has on PVT.
